TrustWeaver is a privately held, venture-funded company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The company was founded by serial entrepreneurs with many years of experience in security technology, business applications and law. From the outset, TrustWeaver has provided tools that facilitate compliance and auditability of business documents and processes through innovative electronic signature-based solutions. TrustWeaver’s solutions are brought to market through OEM relationships, sales partners and in direct relationships with the customers. TrustWeaver builds and provides unique solutions integrating legal, technical and process aspects through a multi-disciplinary team in which each person brings his or her unique experience to bear. With experience from organizations such as the International Chamber of Commerce and the UN, they have a strong global network of contacts and references with key decision makers. Our multicultural team covers large parts of Europe directly and has established ongoing cooperation with expert tax and e business lawyers in other countries. Through their vast legal network, constant contacts with tax authorities and active participation in all relevant standardization groups, TrustWeaver’s team is always on top of the latest legal developments. We anticipate regulatory changes where these occur and ensure our customers’ systems are compliant over time. Christiaan van der Valk, CEO
Formerly Deputy Director of Policy and Business Practices at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Christiaan has been an advisor on e-business strategy, legal, policy, best practice and commercial issues to leading companies and international organizations. He was elected a World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Leader for Tomorrow in 2000. Serves as eBusiness Rapporteur to the ICC Commission on Commercial Law and Practice. Co-Chair of the ICC EBITT Commission's Task Force on Security and Authentication. Law degree from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Member of the Supervisory Board, .nl domain registry foundation (SIDN). Dutch and French nationality.
Johan Borendal, CTO
Responsible for maintaining technology leadership and product strategy, managing both the technical and legal product development teams. Formerly Vice President Engineering and President for RSA Security AB in Sweden. Prior to that was VP Engineering for Dynasoft AB, a company that was bought by RSA in 1997. More than 20 years experience in managing the development of systems and service platforms for the IT security market. Has been on the Board of Directors of PharmaVision, Dynasoft AB and RSA AB. Master of Science (1988) from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Patric Sporrong, Chief Security Officer and Vice President Technical Operations
Responsible for the development, implementation and management of TrustWeaver's corporate security vision, programs and strategy as well as TrustWeaver's On Demand services. Patric has more than 17 years of experience of developing solutions for the IT security market. Patric founded and directed Digisec AB, an independent mobile security firm. He previously served as a senior engineering manager at RSA Security. Held a management position at DynaSoft AB, a company that was acquired by RSA Security in 1997. Experience from the financial services and defense industries. Swedish nationality.
Anna Norden, Legal Counsel
Responsible for analyzing regulatory trends, interfacing with regulators and the legal profession, as well as for maintaining excellence in the legal knowledge fed into product development so that customers' policies and practices remain up-to-date. Anna has an international background in the field of e-commerce and information security from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), where she has i.a. been involved in the work on the UN Model Law on Electronic Signatures. She served as the Swedish national expert in the E-Signature Directive review conducted on behalf of the European Commission. Anna is a board member of the Swedish Network for eBusiness and has been on the board of the Association for IT and Law. She also teaches IT law at Stockholm University and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Stockholm ). Swedish nationality.
Martin Aparicio, Vice President Engineering
Responsible for managing the technical product development team and process. Martin has more than 10 years experience in designing and developing software. After obtaining a Master of Computer Science at Uppsala university in 1998, he started as a software engineer for RSA Security AB and quickly became Technical Lead for the desktop engineering team. Martin has also worked as a Software Architect for AddTrust AB and Tekki AB. Swedish nationality.
