InfoCert to support e-invoicing compliance globally with TrustWeaver partnership
Rome (Italy) and Stockholm (Sweden), 14 September 2015 – InfoCert, a leading company in the field of Trusted Certification Solutions and Electronic Document Management services, has announced a partnership with Sweden-based TrustWeaver, a provider of global Cloud-based compliance services for critical e-documents such as invoices, in order to respond to demand from Italian customers that need to send, receive and archive invoices under the laws of more than 50 countries worldwide. Thanks to this partnership, InfoCert’s enterprise customers that seek to automate business-to-business sales or procurement processes can easily leverage TrustWeaver’s service through their usual InfoCert application, performing the processes needed to ensure compliance regardless of which countries’ laws apply or how such laws change over time.
Around the world, laws for dematerializing tax-relevant documents are often country-specific. Requirements typically rely on local standards for the legal recognition of documents in electronic format. In some countries this means that data integrity and authenticity need to remain demonstrable for very long periods of time, whereas in others invoices need to be ‘cleared’ through tax administrations’ online control platforms before they can be legitimately exchanged between trading partners.
Says Danilo Cattaneo, CEO of InfoCert “A modern and effective digital ecosystem has to be built on solutions based on the real needs of all the players. As Italian companies are large exporters of goods and services worldwide, the compliance with the law of their electronic invoices is essential. This is the reason why InfoCert improved its invoicing solutions with a service fulfilling the requirements of many countries at the same time. Always aware of challenges that clients has to face day by day, InfoCert confirms yet again its attitude to support and make easier their business in an innovative, simple and effective way.”
“We are very pleased to add InfoCert to our partner network” says Christiaan van der Valk, President at TrustWeaver. “Our combined services facilitate the transition to fully digital trade documentation, as many companies remain concerned about legal acceptance and intrusive tax audits. Our combined offering allows international companies to benefit from levels of trust and compliance that are higher than can ever be achieved on paper.”
