Information collection and use

TrustWeaver will use personal information collected from you (the ‘user’) only in ways and for the purposes disclosed in this policy, or separately agreed by you. TrustWeaver will never sell personal information you provide to us on the TrustWeaver website or the TrustWeaver extranet. Furthermore, we will not share the information with any third parties (i.e. non-TrustWeaver personnel or contractors) unless this is described herein or we are required to do so by law or official order.

Please note that we discourage you from providing more personal information, in particular sensitive, than strictly necessary.

Data submitted by users

TrustWeaver’s website includes contact and download forms which allow users to send us an email with an inquiry or to request a document. We will use the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company name and your role within the company, to respond to your inquiry or provide you with the requested document. We will also store this information for legitimate purposes of TrustWeaver, such as analyzing interest in a given document, tracking and analyzing the inquiries we receive and for suppression (tracking who did not agree to receive direct marketing from TrustWeaver).

TrustWeaver also collects log-in data to the extranet and requests sent to our support service. Such data is used for the legitimate interest of providing the services.

TrustWeaver performs on a regular basis review of the needs for storing personal data, and if the need ceased the data is deleted. For example, after one year in case of document download or when the user has no longer a need to use the TrustWeaver extranet in case of contract termination.


TrustWeaver uses first-party and third-party, session and permanent cookies on its website in order to, among other things, identify returning users and remember users’ actions and preferences. Some of the cookies used are essential for the functionality of this website including keeping the session secure (necessary cookies), others make the navigation of our website easier and quicker for the user (performance cookies). TrustWeaver uses functional cookies, for purposes such as enabling displaying videos; and remarketing cookies which are placed on your hard disk during your visit to our website and generate advertisements that are aimed at encouraging you back to our website.

TrustWeaver will not use cookies to access, retrieve or store personal information located on your computer. Log files

Personal data registered on the TrustWeaver extranet can be accessed by other registrants within the same extranet use domain (generally: your company or organization).

Security and access

TrustWeaver takes every reasonable precaution to protect its users’ information. Any information you may provide is protected by appropriate security measures both online and off-line. Only the persons who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices and are regularly reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure that users’ information is protected.

TrustWeaver may use third party service providers as processors for personal data for purposes such as website hosting, mailing, handling customer relations. Service providers are chosen with due care and it is ensured that proper terms of use of service including privacy terms are in place; data might be processed outside of EU by service providers.

User’s rights

TrustWeaver takes reasonable steps to ensure that all applicable personal information is accurate, complete and current and allows users access to their personal information. If the relevant information provided by a user changes, we will allow to correct or update that user’s information. The user may also object to the processing of their personal data, restrict the scope of processing and request permanent deletion of data. In case you provided consent for the processing of data you have the right to withdraw it. TrustWeaver will respect and fulfill such reasonable and well-founded requests. In case of suspected misuse of your data, you have right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

Notification of changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes directly via a link on our homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, we disclose it. If at any point we wish to use personally identifiable information in a manner or for the purpose different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email.
